Sarah Walker
Sarah’s delight is in shepherding students as they wade through challenging ideas in books, in writing, and in conversation. She loves to position students as leaders who actively and deeply engage in the work of learning. Through language and literature, Sarah helps students develop both mind and heart as they marvel together at the true, the beautiful, and the good.
Sarah has 18 years of experience teaching secondary students and designing courses in literature, writing, research, journalism, leadership, wellness, and interdisciplinary humanities. She holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus in Language & Literacy and a B.A. in English & Philosophy, with minors in Rhetoric and German. Sarah is also a local songwriter, amateur birder, and soon-to-be pastor’s wife.
