Amanda Jones

With a reverence for Charlotte Mason’s principles and philosophy of education, Amanda is thrilled to serve as a mentor for parents in the K, 1st , and 2nd grade cohorts. While a classical education is informed by a rich tradition, Amanda knows that it happens in the day-to-day moments of adjusting a pencil grip, sounding out a word, and struggling through a new math problem. Amanda is excited to help parents navigate a curated curriculum, daily lesson plans, schoolroom aesthetics, practical routines, and the tiniest details of an education that turns young students (and their parents!) toward a full life that honors God.
Amanda began her career as a missionary in East Asia after completing her B.S. in Finance at Miami University. Upon returning to the US, Amanda taught kindergarten at a classical school in Arizona while earning a Master’s Degree in Classical Education from the University of Dallas. Rounding out her education, Amanda attended William & Mary Law School where she was awarded a Juris Doctor.
Amanda lives in Anthem, Arizona with her husband and baby boy. She enjoys reading, nature walks, Philly sports, and Bible study.
