Community starts in the classroom.
In our live online classrooms, teachers don’t simply lecture—they engage. With every student on camera, students debate in spirited Socratic discussions, solve problems together on interactive whiteboards, conduct hands-on labs, collaborate in breakout rooms and more.

Online. On Purpose.
Through extracurricular opportunities and built-in bonding experiences, students not only deepen their learning but also develop meaningful friendships that often last well beyond their years at Wilson Hill.
Seasonal Opportunities
Seasonal Opportunities
Throughout the year, students and their families have the opportunity to participate in seasonal, community-building activities like movie nights, holiday service projects, and special hangouts for Grammar students through our Shire program.
"We started with Wilson Hill for academic reasons, but we didn't realize that we would build relationships as well. We have had some of our children’s teachers in our home for meals; we have traveled halfway across the country to meet online friends in person many times; my children have had friends come from other states and other countries to visit them."
—Allyson Alden, Wilson Hill Parent

Peek inside a Wilson Hill classroom.
Wilson Hill teachers are trained to be highly responsive, ensuring that students feel heard, supported and challenged in all the right ways. They don’t merely grade assignments—they build relationships with students, creating an environment where curiosity thrives.
Great Conversation
“Where does right and wrong come from?” “If God is the beginning and the end, did He create evil?”
If you were sitting in a Great Conversation class, these are the types of comments and questions you would hear students debating as they study the Great Books of Western civilization.
Algebra I
Students most truly observe and appreciate the wonder of mathematics when they learn to transfer their concrete mathematical knowledge to abstract algebraic generalizations.
A primary goal in Algebra I at Wilson Hill is to facilitate that vital transfer. Students cannot help but be inspired by the beauty of algebra as they discover how it provides a foundational language to describe so many aspects of the created world.
Grammar of Science: Sky and Space
This class stimulates curiosity by considering questions like: What is the optimal design for a model rocket? Will we colonize Mars in our lifetime? What is a supermoon?
Students discover answers to questions like these as they track weather as junior meteorologists, create a quadrant to establish their bearings, chart a course using a compass and map and gaze at God’s intricate design of the sky.
Senior Thesis
For our graduates, the process of writing, presenting and defending a senior thesis is often the crowning achievement of their high school years—an opportunity to develop and articulate a thoughtful position on a controversial issue and support it with reason and conviction.
Our seniors deliver live presentations—the culmination of months of careful research and writing, covering a wide range of stimulating topics.
