Bill Peacock has been studying and applying theological and economic truths to his work in public policy for more than twenty years. At Wilson Hill, Bill loves using his knowledge and experience to help his students master important concepts of history, government and economics by first understanding the biblical foundations of those subjects. Starting with Genesis 1, his classes take a biblical, historical and philosophical approach to the study of government and economics. By the end of their courses, students are equipped to apply what they have learned about Scripture, people and principles to issues Christians face in society today.

Bill’s experience in public policy includes stints in the Texas Senate, Texas House of Representatives, Texas Department of Agriculture, Texas General Land Office and the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Bill graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in history and a minor in philosophy. He also earned an MBA with an emphasis in public finance from the University of Houston. Bill is a native Houstonian, now residing in the Texas Hill Country with his wife, Kelly, and son, William, where they attend a reformed church. He and his family love Astros baseball.

“We spend a lot of time studying peopleboth the people who developed many of the principles that we study and the people who are in the midst of applying those principles (rightly or wrongly) today.”
