In this intermediate French course, students build on the grammar foundation established in French 1. They focus on the logical and analytical aspects of effective communication and proper use of more complex French grammatical structures. Students continue to explore the history, geography and culture of French-speaking countries through a variety of artists, writers and current events that help bring classroom learning to life.

Topics include: French vocabulary and grammar to deepen understanding of the French language and increase the confidence to speak, read and write in French; the basic building blocks of the language; and the culture in French-speaking countries.

Prerequisites: French 1 or equivalent
