Before joining Wilson Hill Academy for the 2017-18 school year, Ryan Handermann had been teaching Latin and Humanities for 8 years. He taught four years at an ACCS school, three years at a homeschool coop, and two years online with the Davenant Latin Institute (among others). He has taught a wide variety of students, ranging from rambunctious kindergarteners to high school drop-outs and seminary professors (those are the easy students). He also interns as a pastoral assistant at Trinity Reformed Church and has a beautiful wife and four excitable children. He is extremely grateful to his parents for homeschooling him back in North Carolina, and to his high school coop teachers who inspired him to love people and pursue learning. He has a B.A and M.A. from New Saint Andrews College.
