Leslie Gray Smith is a two-time graduate of Auburn University with an undergraduate degree in secondary mathematics and English and a graduate degree in secondary mathematics. She has been teaching for almost 30 years, including 12 years in public school, 7 years in online classical Christian schools, and 12 years of teaching local homeschool students, including her daughter Allyson, who is now in college. Mrs. Smith has been blessed with experience in all levels of secondary mathematics, from pre-algebra through calculus, as well as SAT preparation, but her favorite is Geometry. After all, what could be better than math you can see! She met her husband, Preston, at church where they have ministered together for many years, primarily through music. Mrs. Smith has been a vocalist for choirs, ensembles, and solos; a keyboard accompanist; director of handbells and vocal choirs; and worship leader. When she is not calculating or being harmonious, Mrs. Smith enjoys cooking, reading, painting, drawing, coffee, and eating dark chocolate!
