Leslie Dashiell

Although many see math as difficult or even boring, students find humor in Leslie’s classroom and often finish the semester seeing the beauty and practicality in arithmetic. Her passion is to help students discover the beauty in God’s creation through the logical progression of the study of mathematics. She has spent much of her life learning how to communicate the language in a way that students can comprehend and enjoy, and she is so grateful for the opportunities that God has provided to do so.
Leslie graduated with a degree in mathematics and secondary education from Whitworth College in 1999. She continued to teach until she and her husband started their family. She transitioned into homeschooling in a classical co-op while tutoring students in the region. In the last decade, she has been teaching and managing the math department at a local classical Christian school. She is excited to push her skills into the online school environment and to meet new students from such a broader global neighborhood.
