Christie Jester graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1996 with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering. She continued on to the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned an M.A. in Organic Chemistry and an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology. Christie taught Chemistry and general science courses at Regents School of Austin from 2000-2002. Now she lives in State College, PA, where she homeschools her sons, Zach and Caleb, using classical methodology and has also served as a tutor for Classical Conversations. When she’s not teaching, Christie loves to go kayaking and birding, assist her husband, Bill, in children’s ministry, and bake and decorate cakes. She has a passion for worldwide missions, especially for equipping and assisting local church leaders in South America.
